Perhaps you've experienced therapy before. You might have found comfort, gained insights, or learned coping mechanisms. Yet, perhaps like many I've spoken with, you still felt something was missing – a more active engagement, a connection that resonated beyond the clinical hour, a sense that the full depth of you wasn't quite seen or met. Shoehorned into a box, treated more like a problem than a person.

If that resonates, I want to talk about a different kind of therapeutic journey.

My approach to psychotherapy intentionally moves beyond some of the more rigid, traditional boundaries you might expect. This isn't about being unprofessional or unethical – quite the opposite. Upholding the highest ethical standards is the basis on which this is built. Instead, it's about consciously creating a space for genuine human connection, recognising that profound healing often happens within the context of a relationship that feels real, dynamic, and alive.

It's built upon a rigorous clinical foundation, forged through intensive cognitive-behavioural training (CBT), evolving into Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), refined through long term Zen practice, and eventually integrating the Existential, Transpersonal, Somatic. Starting with radical acceptance, we find the safety we need to change.

This breadth allows me to draw from a rich tapestry of tools and perspectives, shaping a bespoke therapeutic journey tailored specifically to your unique needs, history, and aspirations.
